Q: How do I get to Chicago?
A: You can fly into O'Hare or Midway. If you are flying into O'Hare, you can take the Blue Line into the city. If you are flying thru Midway, you can take the Orange Line and switch to the Red Line. Take the Red Line to State and Division or Chicago. If you don't want schlep, either airport has plenty of cabs but it'll run you anywhere in the ball park of $25-55.
Q: How do I get around?
There is no need to rent a car! Chicago is blessed to have an excellent public transit system. If you plan on utilizing the CTA a great deal, make sure to get a Ventra pass at one of the airport kiosks, "El" Station, or a Walgreens. Remember, buses only take exact change. We also have Uber, cabs, and Via. Or you can see the sights by foot.
Q: What do I wear to the wedding?
A: Easy! The wedding is black tie so please don your finest tuxedo and formal wear.
Q: What if I need a Kosher, Vegan, or some other special meal?
A: Please let us know as soon as possible. We want you to have something delicious to eat at the wedding!
Q: What if I live in the city or in the suburbs, is there some place for me to park if I want to drive to the wedding?
A: Yes! The Newberry Library has dedicated parking spots for attendees.
